You want this lifestyle freedom thing we talk about then you need these things:
- Potential Customers – AKA your email list, subscribers, followers, etc.
- Offer – Something to sell.
- Payment System – AKA your website and shopping cart.
I’m trying a new acrynom for this – P.O.P. – like sales popping off because you got it right? That sounds fun! lol.
What I recommend (in a totally biased because I use them and they work kinda way):
- Recurring Income – I do membership because that’s easy for me but whatever works for you to make sure you have customers who just pay monthly without having to make that buying decision. This saves you from a stressful income roller coaster – nobody wants that!
- ThriveCart – One time payment of $495, upgrades up to about $1000 I recommend but you can do later.
- WordPress – Free with your hosting. You can learn how to use it with my course. I can create a site for you here. We can do a VIP day to create one here.
- Hosting – WPX is my host of choice. You can join them for as little as $25/mo on the monthly plan, you can install WordPress for free and then you can learn how to use it with free YouTube videos if you’re really keen.
- Emails – It still beats everything for me! I do a little social media these days and I do get sales. But if I had time to only focus on ONE thing – email hands down. I use and recommend Kit for emails.
- Courses – I still create and sell courses because people are still buying them. You can create a course one time and sell it forever! Video courses and valued higher because people like to see and hear you. I now add Chat GPT custom course GPTs to my courses and transcripts, too.
- Affiliate Marketing – A great way to start earning before you ever create a course is affiliate marketing. If you want to learn more about this my course is here. Also you can join my own affiliate program and promote my stuff here.
