Course launch report: Zero to $6k with no plan.
Let’s talk about the $6k course launch that I didn’t even plan to do…
A little over a couple of weeks ago I launched a brand new mini-course called Course Coach GPT – If you’ve opened my emails lately you’ve heard of it!
Today I want to pull back the curtain and share:
- Why I believe this course launch worked so well,
- What I’ll be doing to keep the momentum going,

⚡️Why I Think This Course Launch Worked
Over the past couple of months, I’ve seen a “meh” response to some of my offers. There could be a few reasons:
- ChatGPT is everywhere – people can ask it almost anything, including how to make a course.
- My messaging is shifting – I’m no longer just a “work at home mom.” I’m in my Fempire Builder era.
- Buying behavior has slowed a bit… but here’s the key: people are still buying – they just need the right offer.
So I asked myself: What would they buy from ME?
And that’s when it hit me – a Custom GPT built to coach people through their own courses. I got so excited I created the whole thing in one weekend.

Here’s what the results show in my shopping cart:
It was a hit!
- 224 total sales in the funnel
- 194 were Course Coach GPT
- $6,160.25 in revenue
- $3,632.50 net profit after affiliates
- 9% conversion rate!
It’s important to note how much my affiliates sold! Rockstars here! They made up $4964 of the total sales!
Let’s talk bump offers. Here’s the info on those:
Here is what that looks like as a bump on the salespage (of course this is using ThriveCart’s new Pro+ multiple bump offer feature):
The first bump offer was Course Freedom Formula which I put on from the start. It didn’t sell that many and I didn’t expect it to but I thought it was a good, relevant bump to include.
Then about 75 orders later I added ChatGPT for Faster Email Marketing. As you can see more people took that offer but it still made less than half of what the higher priced course bump offer made.
Together this works great!
💡Why It Worked So Well
Here’s what I believe made this launch a success:
- It’s single solution focused – at the end people know exactly what they’ll have out of it.
- It’s AI-focused – and people are finally understanding the power of AI.
- It’s innovative – nobody else is teaching this exact way to use a Custom GPT.
- It’s hyper-targeted to my core audience: lifestyle entrepreneurs who want to build digital courses.
- The funnel was optimized – bump offers helped increase the cart value.
- Affiliates got excited – and that momentum helped drive early buzz and sales.
Moving forward I will continue to test offers that include ChatGPT integration into my customers work process.
I am in ChatGPT every single day at this point and it is quickly becoming an indispensable tool for my growth.
The success of this product certainly opens the door to spin off with other similar offers.
🚀What I’ll Do to Keep Sales Coming In
This wasn’t a “one and done” launch – I’m treating this as an evergreen winner. So here’s what I’m doing next:
- Keep affiliates engaged – I’ll be reminding them from time to time and giving them swipe copy, images, and updates.
- Look into paid advertising – with a 9% ROI I think it’s worth looking at, though I’m really not experienced in this area yet.
- Build out a blog + email funnel – so people can discover this via search and get nurtured into a purchase.
- Talk about it regularly – in my emails, community, and other content.
This launch confirmed for me what I know to be true — business needs constant shifting and evolving – and when I’m aligned with what I truly love creating, the results follow.
