For AI Skeptics & Lovers – Using AI to Make Money & Save Time

I have a friend who is VERY against AI and we talk often about business so it’s almost impossible for me not to mention it since I’m very into using it now to help my business grow.

She asked me how I’m using it to make more money.

Which I thought was an interesting question because mostly I’m using it to SAVE MORE TIME, which is more precious to me than money. But in many cases that does lead to making more money, too!

Here’s the massive list I threw back to her. I consulted both ChatGPT and Claude by asking them that question. I should have also asked how they saved me time, too, so the list might get bigger.

If you’re wondering how you can use AI, this list might help you!

It’s not just about asking questions and getting answers – which is not my favorite method. And if it’s giving you business plans and coaching you – beware! It’s just telling you random stuff not high quality help.

This is long because AI is so helpful!

Examples of how AI is helping me make more money or save more time:

✔️ Post ideas and themes. I ask for an idea, it gives me one specific to my business and goals, I write it. I don’t have to waste time thinking of ideas, they all work. 

✔️ LOTS of money work. Sorting or how to track money. Spotting patterns.

✔️ Short term money ideas. Some have worked, some have flopped but when I’m stressed for money sometimes I’m just totally out of ideas. 

✔️ Creating salespages.

Course Coach GPT was written entirely by ChatGPT and it made me over $6k.

Not to mention without AI I wouldn’t have created the product at all. And it’s useful and not a waste of time for those who would actually use it with the courses they take. 

✔️ Claude analyzed data from over 1500 emails and told me what emails get more opens, what subjectlines get more attention, etc.

Gave a full report with charts I can use to improve email opens and clicks. Here’s part of the report:

✔️ Created HTML sales pages in WordPress

Like this one and also in ThriveCart that look WAY better than the pages I create. Turned the process I used to create them into a presentation that looks amazing, is very thorough and will be used for lead gen and “visibility” in a summit. Then created very useful worksheets and a detailed prompt for anyone who wants to create pages. Full product still took a day to create, but way faster than if I did it all on my own.

✔️ Created an AI Agent that sorts my emails.

It gets important emails into draft with replies written (badly I’ll admit but I sometimes use a bit of it). It gives me a list of priorities. It tells me anything I should unsub from and items to put on my calendar. Emails I should reply to and opportunities I might be missing if I don’t respond soon. This runs daily at 7am.

✔️ Created a beautiful opt-in page for my masterclass that’s converting very well.

Is it better than my last – maybe not, but it looks better. 

And I’ve spent a lot of time on strategy in ChatGPT. It allows me to think through things because my head rolls around all these thoughts and ideas and to bounce them around helps. I know it’s not a magic 8 ball with the answers and I don’t use it like that. My main goal is always using AI to make money and save time. Time is my number one goal, though, because you can’t make more of that!
